Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to each of you.

Here it is only two more days until Christmas!

Have all of you finished you Christmas preparations? I am ready except for Christmas dinner preparations and it is a little too early to have that all done. We will be having dinner here in the park as I am working this week.

There are many people who are here and away from family through the holidays so we have a large Christmas dinner in the clubhouse. We each take a dish, a very large potluck dinner, and the park supplies the ham. This year they purchased 7 hams, I think there will be plenty of ham for everyone and then some.

Glenn's family, Bonnie, Scott, Skip and Kelli and us course the two of us are joining in the Christmas dinner here. My part is to fix a sweet potato cassarole, not too difficult. I am going to use Ellen's recipe, it is different, without marshmellows but with pecans.

Then of course in six days we are leaving here and headed home for a couple of weeks. We are really excited about Jacob and Heather's wedding and also the birth of James and Lisa's first child, Wyatt James.

Pray with us that the weather will not be bad and we wont have difficult traveling.
